With his 11th in the Yanks 6 – 3 victory over Seattle and the Yanks moved above .500 for the first time in what seems an age (April 9th) after their 9th straight victory.
Been a great run of late (which I have doubtlessly jinxed with this post) with Tino homering in 5 straight games, 2 in one night and 8 in 8 games.
Yup I’ve given Bernie some stick of late but he’s now only trailing Lou Gehrig (23), Joe DiMaggio (13) and Babe Ruth (12) on the list of Yankee grand slam hitters and that’s some company to be in.
