One of these days

all those chances will go in.

And Spurs fans won’t have to spend a nervy night waiting semi-expecting for the equaliser.

But another good win in the UEFA Cup, top of the group through to the next stage after defeating Dimitar Berbatov’s old club Bayer Leverkusen 1-0, thanks to a goal from the man himself. Though how he missed that sitter later on no one knows.

And if he’d knocked that in and if Robbie Keane would stop trying to be Terry Henry and just bang it early with his left instead of trying to curl it past the ‘keeper with his right then it would have been a better night.

As Tony Sopr..err..Martin Jol said “you have to convert possibilities into goals”. At some point all these chances will go in, someone will be on the end of a stuffing

Paul Robinson showed yet again why he’s the best in the country, with Pascal Chimbomba again proving what a good buy he is. Also thought Malbranque looked OK, though might have been better through the middle with Tainio on the left would’ve given Assou-Ekotto a little more protection, especially after the Germans brought Freier in the second half.

And if they could transform this European away form to the Premiership that would be nice.
