Electric Ladyland?
Now I’m as big a Jimi Hendrix fan as the next guy, a great player, great showman, the three studio albums released when he was alive are musts for any music fan especially guitarists, my other favourite albums are the “BBC Sessions” and the “Blues” album because of their rawness and simplicity.
I do remember my mate Kev saying when I finally got “Electric Ladyland” on CD that I’d only done so because of the cover (below), cheeky bugger.
But I don’t think I’ll be coughing $39.95 for the DVD entitled “Jimi Hendrix the Sex Tape” that’s being released by Vivid Entertainment, even if I did think it was him.
A quick squiz at the trailer (below NSFW) and I’m thinking it ain’t James Marshall, now I certainly never got as close to the man himself as notorious groupie Pamela Des Barres or Cynthia Plaster Caster did, and him dying before I was born isn’t the only reason for that, but I tend to go with one of his many girlfriends Kathy Etchingham, there’s something not quite right about the hair, eyebrows, nose and the guy looks a bit fatter in the face.
