It’s not meant to go

like that, is it.

Spurs are meant to get out of the blocks first, but then get bullied out of the game and lose out on either one or all three points with a last minute strike.

Robbie Keane isn’t meant to pop up in the final minute of normal time and grab a well deserved point away at Sunderland.

No the mistakes of playing Shimbomba (© David Pleat) at left back, Bent up front and Jenas at all (though again ‘Arry substituted him, miracles will never cease), is meant to be exposed on an away day up North.

But even with all that, Modric not having the influence he has of late, Lennon skinning anyone that got close to him but not providing an end product (probably due to me putting him in my fantasy team), Palacios not bossing the centre of the park (having that ponce next to him doesn’t help mind) added to Sunderland having a last minute set piece along with them containing a couple of Spurs old boys in Reid (still enjoying the pies) and Steed (who shouldn’t have been let go) and one target who played like The Black Cats should be kicking themselves for not accepting £15million for him. Somehow Spurs managed the draw.

Says it all about the season though, happy to come away with a point against a limited side as it moves us one more point away from the bottom three. Five points away from them now and seven points from 7th, Villa away and Chelski at home next the former struggling of late, especially at home, will we get them back on track to take the Champions League spot off the scummers. The other lot, well since Hiddink moved in they’re back to winning by a goal, like they did in the league winning years.
