An email the other day contained a reference to a song that was unfamiliar to me.
So a quick Google for Rachel Flotard and the track “Anchor Song” lead me to a video for the track by Maggie Björklund, who is one of those masters of the dark art of the pedal steel guitar – much like mine and Rachel’s good mate Jon “Orchid Fingers” Rauhouse – there’s a few videos of Rachel with Jon on his site.
During the back end of last month there were videos of Maggie Björklund playing a few tracks, from her new album – “Coming Home” on Bloodshot records – with a number of well known artists, released to various sites around teh interweb.
