Friday Night Frights.
Commenced with a dark and gory, well is it a Spaghetti Western or a Paella Western? “Cut-Throats Nine”. Good film but as said very dark, this ain’t your Terence Hill / Bud Spencer euro-western. As someone said it’s Mario Bava meets Sergio Corbucci.

Friday night frights continued with a few more laughs but maybe a bit more gore, as Rory Calhoun prepared the meat treats at “Motel Hell”. Great tagline on the poster… “It takes all kinds of critters… to make Farmer Vincent fritters”. Not too sure about the swingers that wanted to get it on with Rory and Beulah Balbricker.

And Friday night frights concluded with Klaus Kinski as “Jack the Ripper”, in Jesus Franco’s Swiss-German production. All your typical Franco themes on show but some awful dubbing in this one.
