commenced with episode one of…

The Italian TV mini-series “Private Crimes”. It continued with the next two episodes and concluded with the fourth and final episode.

Directed by Sergio Martino the man behind a number of well known Gialli, classics of the genre and era- The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh (1971), The Case of the Scorpion’s Tail (1971), All the Colors of the Dark (1972), Your Vice Is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key (1972), and Torso (1973) – and Poliziotteschi – The Violent Professionals (1973), Silent Action (1975), The Suspicious Death of a Minor (1975) – he latter also belonging in the Giallo bracket.

It starred a few familiar faces from the golden era of those two genres of Italian films. Giallo babe Edwige Fenech, who was in a number of Martino’s Gialli listed above. Ray Lovelock, Alida Valli and Gabriele Ferzetti.
