The Great British music

“fans” have done it again getting “The Crazy Frog” to top spot in charts.

Crazy Frog

Yup in the country of the Beatles, Stones, Who, Zeppelin etc etc etc the population would rather buy in droves crap that makes the musical output of France & Germany look good. Christ when will it end and a TV advert will pass without that damn Frog. One can only hope mobile phones can cause sterilisation and that the Frog will be listened to a lot by those that enjoy it 🙄

I suppose what should be expected when the Monkey Mancs garbage is voted best UK song by Virgin radio listeners. Yeah half of the other 10 tracks deserve their place but not that hugely overrated piece of self indulgent crap by Lennon, anything by Blobby Williams and the Verve one. Great to see the Stranglers in there.

  1. Oasis – Wonderwall
  2. Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody
  3. Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven
  4. The Beatles – Let It Be
  5. John Lennon – Imagine
  6. Police – Every Breath You Take
  7. The Jam – Going Underground
  8. Verve – Bitter Sweet Symphony
  9. Robbie Williams – Angels
  10. The Stranglers – Golden Brown

Thankfully non of the 6 Coldplay tracks in the top 100 were in the 10, though it does make the Crazy Frog a bit more tolerable by the fact it kept another of their dullard records off the top place.
