James.
I said in the post yesterday about McClaren’s inability for the England job I expected a recall for the Pompey Dads Army of Judas Cuntball & David “Calamity” James in his squad to face Spain.
But he didn’t 😯 He obviously hasn’t forgotten why James was removed the way all those others clamouring for his return have.
The one everyone was expecting to get the nod did with Joey Barton getting his first call up to the senior national squad.
OK I don’t know if Barton is international class, I have a feeling he ain’t quite there but if Jenas can get in there again why can’t someone who actually does something and it’s a good call if only to stick it up those he has had a go at recently. You know the ones that…
Got beat in the quarter-finals. I played like shit. Here’s my book. Joey Barton
And the follow up about how Lumpalard and “Personal Glory” Gerrard can’t play together, unless they have one ball each. Something the Chelsea World Cup underachiever took offence at.
Well Barton was right, Gerrard, Lampard, Ferdinand etc etc were taking the English fans for retards with their inept display and then expecting to cash in on it.
The Man City man wants to go into the first challenge in training clatter one of them, stand up and say – “that’ll give your ghostwriters something to publish”.
I suppose we’ll see Woodgate & Ferdinand in central defence, McClaren expecting them to fit back into their Leeds ways. Yeah great thinking no matter what Ferguson says we know ManUre’s defence has nothing to do with the England man but with Vidic.
What has caused trouble for sometime now in the English defence? Crosses & set pieces. So what is required? A strong defender that can head away any danger ball – I know I’m biased but step forward Michael Dawson.
The other person I think could have been called up was James Milner of Newcastle, with Joe Cole out he could fit in on the left. Can use both feet, indeed cross well and score with both so with him on the left and Lennon on the right they could swap over during the game and create good chances.
