Ange’s loseathon continues

A MASSIVE WIN FOR VILLA | VILLA 2-0 TOTTENHAM

just two more possible losses to go.

Ange’s Spurs’ 21st league defeat of the season, their record breaking 25th defeat in all competitions this season, saw them go down 2-0 to Villa, who Ange once used to beat.

I don’t suppose Villa were moaning about having this fixture rescheduled, after such an easy win in the end and now having a bit of extra time before the final game of the season.

Yes it took the home side an hour to seal the win with the opening goal, but for all of their worry it was still too easy, far too easy, as Spurs only managed 3 attempts in the whole game. One of them on target.

Ange put out his weakened side and none of them put their hand up saying “pick me for the final”.

Tel, again showed he’s a lightweight, nothing player, why he’s never really featured for Munich. Remember when the Angesexuals told us it would all be better when Odobert was fit, well he is, it isn’t. Sonny was back and while actually looking sharper than he has before in this season, he still wasn’t the Sonny of before. While Moore was shifted to the wrong side to accommodate others.

Archie Gray was in his actual position, but after being repeatedly played out of position, where he’s performed well all things considered, it’s no surprise that the longer he’s played under Ange the worse he’s looking. The same can be said for Spence, it’s no coincidence that when he came into the side he looked a lot better than he does now he’s been under Ange. He was coached where he was on loan before.

Yup, it was a surprise it took ’em so long to score, nearly the hour, they’d had 8 attempts. But it was no surprise it came from a set piece. Yet again, Spurs concede from a corner. A corner where Villa got the first touch and then the second touch. The scorer surrounded by Spurs players but no one anywhere near him to stop the ball getting to him, or to stop him scoring.

Kinsky could do nothing about either goals but again had an assured display in goal. The second came about 15 minutes later. Spurs were pretty much done well before this, Villa really didn’t need the security of a second. It came from an edge of the box strike, that went past plenty of Spurs shirts not trying that hard to block anything before hitting the net.

The next 20 minutes saw Spurs register zero shots. Amazing eh? Even bringing on Solanke did change that. I know shocking.

So we had a nothing performance, which saw two players, Sarr and Moore, departure with what looked like injuries and no positives to be taken, other than it’s one more game chalked off before the fraud is sacked…
