Yet again England lose a competitive match to a top 10 ranked team, as they go down 2-3 to Spain in the Nations League.
Said it all through Southgate’s reign of predictability, his England will beat up on some minnows, struggle against to beat some minnows but when it comes to the tournament and they come up against the first half decent side, they’ll lose.
This was what the big named manager was supposed to rectify.
But it hasn’t. Argies in the World Cup, cave in and loss. Spain in this competition, gift them the win.

Guehi would have turned back and played that ball, that led to the 2nd minute opener, six months ago. O’Reilly would have played that pass leading to Spain’s second at any time in his England career – just look at his blinking, the guy is permanently concussed.
And Guehi was out of position for Spain’s winner, creating that huge gap for Spain to pass through, because that’s what Tuchel wanted, nothing to do with Pep being involved with another scandal.
But of course we can blame Kane for missing the penalty, just completely forgetting the number of gilt edge chances Spain had before that and the little England actually really created. Kane’s goal coming from the one time O’Reilly managed to not hit the first defender with a cross. While the opener came from the only time they played forward with pace and passing the ball in front of people, instead of behind them stopping everything.
So nothing has changed it’s continuity Southgate nothing has changed so what is the point of Tuchel?
