The only thing worse than watching England

is having to listen to pundits talk the rubbish up like you have just witnessed it with your own eyes. England's football and rugby team held a “hold my beer” competition on Sunday to see who could pit in the dullest, predictable, performance. Both were really lucky in the opposition also took part. read the rest of this rubbish

But Spurs could have done this and

still be in the League Cup. The latest Angeballfest in thumping Burnley away saw one change to his usual lineup that was probably the only decent thing from their midweek League Cup exit, as Sonny played central and got his hat-trick. read the rest of this rubbish

Spurs really have their Tottenham back

as Ange repeats previous errors. It's not even September and Spurs are out of one competition already, probably the one they were most likely to have a chance in, as after an awful performance they went out of the League Cup on penalties. read the rest of this rubbish

Well… that made a change from Spurs

could this really be a new era. After beating one of the “big teams” - can you class Man u as that now? - Spurs usually follow that up with a humiliating last gasp loss to one of the season's relegation fodder teams, but this time they beat Bournemouth. read the rest of this rubbish

Angeball works better against these little teams

who think they can play. After Spurs' opening day draw against a flat back 10, Angeball was going to look better against an open midfield like Man United's, as their 2-0 victory showed. read the rest of this rubbish

Angeball is officially here for Spurs

but did it really work? Ange Postecoglu’s first real game in charge of Spurs saw some encouraging things, some bright new faces, but also the same old failures from the same old players, for their 2-2 draw with Brentford. This was a game of two strikers, both of whom weren’t here, but if either were […] read the rest of this rubbish

Daniel Levy has played a blinder

apparently. In another case of deja-vu all over again, Daniel Levy has agreed to take the money and run by selling Spurs' best player on the eve of the new season. And some are OK with it. read the rest of this rubbish

Stuart Broad could have scripted his departure a bit better

but not much. Stuart Broad ended his cricketing career with a six and the winning wicket, it could only have been better if the victory sealed or emphasised a victorious Ashes series, instead of just making sure the Aussies didn't win. read the rest of this rubbish

Fast, furious, frenetic, the final stage of the Tour de France

was a microcosm of the previous 20. Well once it hit the Champs, after all the revelry and the final part of the final stage really got going and Pogacar was off the front. read the rest of this rubbish

Did the moto with the Tour

for Vingegaard? After another week of battling it out, Pogacar and Vingegaard are only 10 seconds apart, as their teams alternate between being on top. But one final kick was stopped by those motorbikes and Pog hasn't been the same since. read the rest of this rubbish
