The week commenced with a bit of everything “Orders Signed in White” (1974).
A real strange one this, starts of as a mafia poliziottesco, went into heist movie, then turned to a giallo with some black gloved bumping off – including a woman driving down the road and when the brakes fail she goes straight off a quarry cliff – then turns into a bit of horror with some demonic dreams, then turns into a political thriller.
A gang raid a bank, making off with a nice tidy sum and head off to a hideout in the mountains to take refuge, with a few women in tow to keep them company. Soon these robbers start being killed by an unknown black-gloved figure. IMDb
The week commenced with an Alain Delon double bill, starting with “Flic Story” (1975). Good flic… see what I did there? But it didn’t quite convey the time it took and the amount of robberies and killings Emile Buisson committed.

The week’s viewing concluded with “The Strange Countess” (1961). In the late 50s the Germans discovered Edgar Wallace and here’s another barmy Edgar Krimi.
A girl is almost murdered, but no explainable motive can be found until a 20 year old murder is uncovered and linked to the case. IMDb
