only saw a couple of flicks.

Yup, just two movies this weekend, one on Friday Night Frights and one on Sunday. Both with Paul Naschy playing roving werewolf Waldemar Daninsky.

Of course going the way I’ve been watching them they were out of sequence.

Yes, so first up on Friday was the fourth film in the Naschy/Daninsky series “Fury of the Wolfman” aka “Wolfman Never Sleeps” (1970). Which creates another story on how the character became a werewolf, how many is that now?

A man has had a werewolf curse cast upon him. If he doesn’t get rid of it, he turns into a killer werewolf when the moon is full. IMDb

Sunday saw the first of the series, one with so many names, none of which has anything to do with the story… “The Mark of the Wolfman” aka “Hell’s Creatures”, “The Nights of Satan”, “The Vampires of Dr. Dracula” and “Frankenstein’s Bloody Terror” (1968).

There’s no Frankenstein, there’s vampires but no Dracula and just one of the titles mentions anything to do with a wolf.

It of course sets out the first way Daninsky acquired the full moon fur.

A man suffers from the curse of lycanthropy and seeks out the aid of a German doctor and his wife who are experts in the occult. Unknowingly, the cursed man has summoned two vampires instead, who have sinister plans of their own for the werewolf IMDb

Still got seven of the Naschy/Daninsky Hombre Lobo series of films to see, one of which doesn’t exist apparently.
